Installation procedure for Windshield Decals Wet Method 1. Clean window surface with Windex, or similar, using a lint-free material. 2. Make sure car is in a shady, not windy area. Surface must be cool. 3. Using either 1/2" or 5/8" masking tape, run tape along upper edge of the windshield. This acts as a spacer to maintain equal distance. Make a mark on the tape at the center of the windshield. 4. Measure/mark the center of the decal, it it hasn't been already. 5. Place the decal face down on the car or another clean surface; carefully remove the heavier paper backing; spray the back of the decal with Windex or very slightly soapy water. Spray the windshield where the decal is to be placed, too. 6. Carefully place the decal on the window, using the masking tape as the alignment, and making sure the decal is centered. Because of the liquid, you should be able to move the decal around as necessary. Then take a squeegy or credit card or similar and "squeeze out" the liquid solution. 7. Let the decal dry. It may take several hours. Once dry, peel off the upper application tape CAREFULLY at an angle of about 180 degrees. If the vinyl starts to lift from the glass, it is not dry; squeegy back down and wait longer. 8. Once removed, there should not be any bubbles in your decal (which is why we put it on wet). If there is, just piece any bubble(s) with a pin and carefully squeeze out any air. If the bubbles are very small, a pin prick alone should do it; just let the decal dry further and teeny bubbles disapear.
